Siren of kitava

After the destruction of Oriath, the skull of Kitava was thrown into the sea where it drifted. Eventually it washed on Barren shores. Around the skull spawned a strange forest which seemed to entrance the crews of passing ships to crash on the shores. The forest provided nourishment for the survivors but there was some deleterious effects and soon the survivors walled themselves off. However Kitava requires sacrifice. A deal was struck. Evil attracts evil and now the Siren of Kitava only attracts pirates. The pirates are enslaved by the battle hardened exiles, and their plunder stolen.
