Colossus Siege Relics

Here stands a relic from the era of the colossi, enchanted monolithic creatures hewn from stone that were set upon the ancient lands of Wraeclast by unknown forces. For an aeon they terrorised the lands, crushing and demolishing all resistance until one day, the source of their power was destroyed. In a mighty explosion that rippled across the mountains, each colossus in turn froze, cracks sprawling rapidly over their bodies, intense flames flowing from them as they fractured, tumbling in pieces, lifeless where they once stood. 

This hideout was where the explosion radiated from, and a small but unimaginably powerful device - the map device - is all that remains of the arcane machinery that once wreathed a mountain.

A band of explorers - masters of mystical arts, mighty warriors, and researchers of the arcane - have now made this place their home, working together to unravel the mysteries of the Atlas and the maddening horrors it threatens to unleash once again.
